We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to execute the sales and marketing strategy for McCardel Restoration. This candidate must specialize in building strategic relationships with customers, vendors, and property owners, both commercial and residential. This individual must love interacting with people, as they will be the spokesperson for McCardel Restoration at many community events, meetings, golf outings, and other local functions.

Job Purpose

Operations & Reporting

  • Be available as needed to accompany Project Manager/Owner on jobs for sales assists.
  • Attend Production Meetings to monitor Pending Sales, Pre-Production, and Work In Progress. Monitor lagging estimates, report hold-ups, assist in securing jobs, and move them forward.
  • Update Score Card Weekly.
  • Properly document job referral sources.
  • Customer service and retention.
  • Complaint intake escalation with MIPs.
  • Update Events Calendar.
  • Weekly PDM reporting on clients, meetings, and events visited or attended.

Customer Reviews

  • Maintain survey requests.
  • Obtain testimonials for Google, Yelp, Facebook, and the website.
  • Follow up with the team and client if negative feedback occurs.
  • Send thank-you letters to referral sources.

Website and Social Media

  • Work with developer to create content.
  • Maintain keywords and PPC campaigns.
  • Organize photo and video shoots with teams.
  • Maintain employee bios and headshots.
  • Take marketing before-and-after photos.
  • Create and maintain organic posts and determine posting frequency.
  • Respond to positive and negative feedback.
  • Generate traffic.

Advertising & Promotional Products

  • Work with graphic designer for renderings, artwork approvals, and pricing.
  • Maintain digital logo inventory in SharePoint for quick access.
  • Maintain physical inventory of logos for uniforms and samples of promotional products.
  • Develop print materials, including signs, brochures, business cards, handouts, and more.

Employee Uniforms

  • Maintain inventory and documentation.
  • Distribute uniforms to new hires and as needed for existing employees, including seasonal employees.
  • Work with preferred vendors to provide uniforms for embroidery and screen printing.
  • Communicate with accounting regarding employee contributions and vendor payments.

Employee Outings

  • Plan company events for employees, including holidays, morale-building events, and other activities.
  • Organize with teams regarding their participation.
  • Manage scheduling and payment with outside venues.

Outings & Community Involvement

  • Plan events including MSU games, golf outings, fundraisers, conventions, and charity events.
  • Assist before and during events or obtain help as needed.
  • Distribute tickets to partners for incentives and rewards, including basketball and football games.
  • Send invitations to preferred partners.
  • Plan sponsorships, obtain approvals, and facilitate payment.
  • Manage event checklists, including pudding shots, tables, chairs, drinks, coolers, SWAG, tents, charging bricks, power supplies, and other supplies.
  • Document events for social media.
  • Develop games or value-added activities for events, such as taking photos for sponsorships.
  • Plan marketing strategies based on event themes and organize supplies.

Emergency Service Plan (ESP) / After the Loss

  • Assist in development and implementation.
  • Sign, organize, and renew contracts.
  • Facilitate meetings with new target markets.
  • Provide a list of preventative and maintenance services we offer, as well as referrals when services are not provided in-house.

Target Marketing

  • Maintain contact and market leadership with existing house accounts and continue developing those relationships.
  • Understand target markets and develop monthly routes, including Insurance Agents, Fire Departments, Claim Centers, Trade Groups, Property Management Companies, Neighborhood Organizations, Plumbing Companies, Electrical Companies, HVAC Companies, Tree Services, and more.
  • Develop sales presentations and revise them as needed for each target market.
  • Locate and identify VBR information.
  • Maintain customer contact information.
  • Prepare holiday baskets for top referral sources using a small-business and giving-back approach.

Trade Groups & Associations

  • Identify community associations and organizations for company involvement.
  • Attend monthly and quarterly meetings.
  • Register for events, determine participation plans, organize sponsorships, and delegate event setup responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, particularly phone etiquette and concierge services.
  • Minimum two (2) years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based software.
